Vibe Coding Revenue Hits a New Milestone

Vibe coding revenue has reached a striking new high, with Lovable crossing $600 million in annual run-rate revenue. Co-founder Fabian Hedin shared the figure during the HumanX summit in Amsterdam on Thursday, marking a significant jump from the roughly $500 million the company reported in June.

The update signals that vibe coding, a style of software creation where users describe what they want and AI generates a working product, is moving quickly from novelty to serious business. Lovable is one of the clearest beneficiaries of that shift, and its latest numbers suggest demand is not slowing down.

What the $600M Figure Means

Annual run-rate revenue is a snapshot of current performance projected across a full year. It is not the same as audited annual revenue, but it gives a useful sense of how fast a business is scaling.

For Lovable, the climb from about $500 million in June to $600 million represents meaningful momentum in a short window. The company has also attracted attention for its rapid fundraising pace, raising more than $700 million across two rounds just eight months apart.

A Push Into Enterprise

Hedin said the startup has focused on growing its enterprise business. According to him, two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies are now using its product. Its customers include Microsoft, Nvidia, and Deutsche Telekom.

That enterprise emphasis matters for several reasons:

  • Large organizations bring recurring contracts and longer-term stability.

  • Big-name customers lend credibility that can attract more business.

  • Enterprise use cases often demand stronger hosting, deployment, and scaling features, which Lovable says it provides.

Nearly a Billion Views per Month

Beyond revenue, Hedin highlighted the reach of apps built on the platform. He said apps created by users are together attracting nearly a billion views per month.

That figure is notable because it shows output moving beyond internal prototypes. If the apps people build on Lovable are drawing close to a billion visits each month, the platform is helping create products with real audiences.

Why Lovable Says It Is Different

Hedin drew a distinction between Lovable and other AI coding tools. “You can use these tools [like Codex or Claude code] to output code,” he said. “The difference is that Lovable does not output code. The output is a product, and increasingly so, a business.”

He added that the company handles hosting, deployment, and scaling. In his words, the apps created on the platform generate close to a billion visits per month, which he described as an order of magnitude more than Lovable itself.

That positioning helps explain the company’s pitch. Rather than selling code assistance, it sells a path from idea to working, scalable product.

The Funding Backdrop

Lovable has raised substantial capital to fuel its growth:

  • In December, it raised $300 million from Menlo Ventures and CapitalG at a $6.6 billion valuation.

  • In August, it raised $400 million from Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund at a $13.3 billion valuation.

The repeat involvement of Menlo Ventures across both rounds suggests continued conviction from at least one major backer. The valuation jump from $6.6 billion to $13.3 billion in roughly eight months reflects how aggressively investors are pricing AI software companies with fast-growing revenue.

What This Means for the Vibe Coding Market

The vibe coding space is becoming more competitive and more crowded. Tools that generate code are widely available, and many developers use them daily. Lovable’s argument is that generating code is only part of the job.

If the company can keep converting users into paying customers and enterprise clients into long-term accounts, its revenue trajectory could continue upward. The main risks are familiar ones for fast-growing AI startups: competition, the cost of scaling infrastructure, and the challenge of keeping pace with user expectations.

For now, the numbers tell a story of strong demand. A $600 million annual run rate, customers like Microsoft and Nvidia, and close to a billion monthly views across user-built apps suggest Lovable has moved well past the experimental stage.

Key Takeaways

  • Lovable has crossed $600 million in annual run-rate revenue, up from about $500 million in June.

  • Two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies reportedly use the product, including Microsoft, Nvidia, and Deutsche Telekom.

  • Apps built on the platform are attracting nearly a billion views per month.

  • The company has raised over $700 million in two rounds eight months apart.

The vibe coding market is still young, but Lovable’s latest disclosure shows that the category can produce substantial revenue, not just headlines. Whether that pace holds will depend on execution, competition, and how well the company serves the businesses now relying on it.
