Motorola Razr (2025) Leaks: Smaller Display, Bigger Battery & Bold New Colors

Motorola is working on a new collection of Razr devices, and the leaks are starting to pour in, including a new look at the base Motorola Razr (2025) which has updated specs and some gorgeous new colors too.

XpertPick recently published a collection of videos showing off the Motorola Razr (2025), as well as the specs for this new device. Changes include switching to the new MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, offering 12GB of RAM, an IP48 dust/water resistance rating, and in a surprise move, a smaller display. Apparently, the Razr (2025) will feature a 6.7-inch display as opposed to the 6.9-inch panel used in prior releases, including the 2024 Razr (sold outside of the US as “Razr 50”).

Despite the smaller display, though, the report also claims that Motorola has equipped this device with a bigger battery, replacing the 4,200 battery in the 2024 device with a new 4,500 mAh power pack. Charging is still at 30W wired with wireless charging available.

Notably, the additional button seen in previous leaks of another 2025 Motorola Razr device is not present on this model.

Colors on the new Razr reportedly include “Gibraltar Sea” which is said to have a nylon-like texture and a dark blue color, “Lightest Sky” which is a light grey color, and “Spring Bug,” which is a vibrant green color. This last color also passed through TENAA this week, alongside the “Razr 60 Ultra” which has that additional button on its side.

Motorola released its last crop of Razr foldables in June last year, so we’re coming up fairly quickly on the next launch.
