Insomniac Games, the renowned developer behind iconic franchises like Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man, is entering a new era. After three decades at the helm, founder and president Ted Price is retiring. Effective the end of March, Price will step down, passing the torch to three new studio heads who will guide Insomniac's future.
"This decision has been in the works for some time," Price explained. "After over 30 years of leading Insomniac, I felt it was the right time to step aside and allow others to lead the team."

Founded in 1994, Insomniac has consistently pushed the boundaries of video game development. From the imaginative worlds of Ratchet & Clank to the exhilarating web-slinging adventures of Spider-Man, the studio has built a strong reputation for creativity, technical prowess, and delivering unforgettable gaming experiences.
Since its acquisition by PlayStation in 2019, Insomniac has continued to thrive, currently developing a highly anticipated game based on the iconic Marvel character Wolverine.
The New Leadership Team
Taking over for Price will be a trio of seasoned Insomniac veterans:
- Chad Dezern: A long-time creative force at Insomniac, Dezern has been instrumental in shaping the studio's creative vision.
- Ryan Schneider: Previously Head of Franchise Strategy and Studio Relations, Schneider brings a wealth of industry experience and a deep understanding of the gaming landscape.
- Jen Huang: As Insomniac's CFO for the past eight years, Huang provides crucial financial expertise and stability.
